in 1978, the company is now centrally located on a 6 acre complex
in Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Facilities include 55,000 square feet of purpose built modern warehousing,
together with 20,000 square feet of compound storage and a purpose
built garage to service the fleet of 100 trailers, 39 tractor units
and 5 rigid trucks.
The
Group has identified the importance of transport and logistics
in supply chain management. Accordingly, the Group
aims to
expand its logistics offering by adding a further 50,000 square
feet of warehousing on its site.
The
provision of value added services, integrated national distribution
and unit load traffic to the UK and Continent
will represent the strategy for the Group for the next 5 years.
The
fleet of trailers and tractor units are subject to regular
renewal and replacement.
